Empty Bowls By The Lake

Join this community fundraiser supporting local hunger-relief efforts. Guests enjoy unlimited soup and bread while taking home a handmade pottery bowl, all for a $25 donation. The event also features live entertainment and a silent auction with donated items. Children ages 6–12 can attend for $5 (includes food but not a bowl), while children 5 and under are free. All proceeds go directly to Second Harvest Food Bank, Community Resource Services, Commodore Cupboard, and other local food pantries in the area. This is a meaningful way to spend a few hours as a family while supporting a cause that fights food insecurity in your community. Since 2012, Empty Bowls by the Lake has donated over $198,000 to local organizations. The entire event—from planning to soup preparation to donated bowls and auction items—is volunteer-run, so your contribution goes straight to helping neighbors in need. Tickets are available at the door, making it easy to participate.
