Dominic Moore-Dunson: Black by Nature

Dominic Moore-Dunson's "Black by Nature" is a one-of-a-kind dance-theatre performance taking place along the scenic 1.2-mile Oxbow Trail. This world premiere, commissioned by DANCECleveland, weaves together movement, storytelling, and live music as it explores themes of healing, belonging, and connection to nature. The experience is guided by an original jazz-inspired score performed live by an acoustic ensemble featuring guitar, saxophone, trumpet, upright bass, and hand percussion. The performance invites audiences of all ages to reflect on identity and our relationship with the natural world. Since registration is required and spots fill up starting August 1st, families interested in attending should plan ahead.
