DANCECleveland Community Dance Day and Northeast Ohio Student Showcase

Bring your family to a full day celebrating dance at Playhouse Square! Starting at 10 am, you'll find over a dozen free classes spread throughout the district, all open to dancers of any age or experience level. Whether your kids want to try Contemporary, Ballet, Hip Hop, African Drum & Dance, Flamenco, Polynesian, Ballroom, Jazz, Tap, or Line Dance, there's something for everyone. The schedule runs in rotating time slots throughout the morning and early afternoon, and adaptive instruction options are available so all abilities can participate. Registration is already open to secure your spots in specific classes. After enjoying the morning's classes, stick around for a free performance at 3 pm in Playhouse Square's Allen Theatre. You'll watch talented young dancers and choreographers from across Northeast Ohio showcase their skills in a professional setting. This is a wonderful chance for your family to experience different dance styles and celebrate movement together—all without spending a dime.
