Cool Winters Hike

This winter hiking event invites families to explore the 1.4-mile Seneca Trail at Nature Realm during the colder months. Participants will walk together while observing seasonal changes and learning about the natural history of the property. It's a chance to discover how the outdoors remains engaging and beneficial even when temperatures drop, making it a great activity for anyone wanting to stay active during winter. The program welcomes adults, seniors, teens, and youth, so it works well for mixed-age groups. If you have questions before heading out, the Nature Realm Visitors Center staff are available by phone to help. This is an in-person program, so come prepared for winter conditions on the trail.
