Children’s Book Signing/AudioBook Release at The Learned Owl in Hudson

Meet local author Ralph Davila as he celebrates his children's book *When Willie Got His Wheels*, the first in his "Willie's Wonderful Adventures" series. Davila will be on hand to sign copies of his rhyming picture book, which follows a second-grader named Willie as he chases his dream of becoming a motorcyclist. The story takes readers on Willie's journey through obsession and daydreaming, ultimately teaching lessons about setting realistic goals, maintaining a positive attitude, and the importance of family and mentor support. The book is geared toward kids ages 8–12 and combines humor with meaningful messages about believing in yourself. This is a great outing for families with elementary-aged readers, especially those drawn to stories told in verse and tales about following your passions. You'll have the chance to meet the author in person, get books signed, and learn more about Davila's creative journey. Copies of *When Willie Got His Wheels* are available for purchase at the bookstore, priced at $9.99. No registration appears to be required—simply drop in during the event window.
