Candy Land Wild about Winter

Bring your family to experience this beloved board game transformed into an indoor adventure at Penitentiary Glen Reservation. Kids and parents will journey through a winter-themed landscape, discovering hidden surprises both above and below the snow. The experience includes a craft activity, scavenger hunts, hands-on exhibits, and more—all designed to capture the magic of the classic game in a fresh way. Best of all, admission is completely free. While you're there, you can warm up with hot chocolate at Snowshoe Lodge or browse The Nature Store for nature-inspired gifts. Weather permitting, snowshoe rentals are available. On weekends, catch special programming: Saturday mornings feature animal chats and campfire s'mores, while Sundays offer wildlife enrichment demonstrations. The event runs from late November through early January, closed only on major holidays.
