Blooms by Blacklight

This event invites families to experience spring wildflowers in a whole new way. Using special lighting techniques, you'll walk the 1.2-mile Pheasant Run Trail and discover flowers as pollinators see them—revealing patterns and details invisible to the naked eye. It's a unique opportunity to understand how insects interact with blooms and appreciate the hidden beauty of spring plants. This program works well for adults and families of all ages who enjoy nature exploration and want something a bit different from a typical trail walk. The evening outing runs about 90 minutes.
