Bird Nerds: Barred Owl

This session invites bird lovers of all ages to explore one of Ohio's most iconic owl species—the barred owl. The program starts with an indoor presentation where you'll learn fascinating details about these recognizable birds that many of us spot but may not fully understand. If you'd like to extend your experience, you're welcome to join a guided birding walk afterward to search for these owls in their natural habitat. The event works well for families with older kids, teens, and adults who want to deepen their knowledge of local wildlife. The combination of indoor learning and optional outdoor exploration gives you flexibility in how you participate.
