Bird Nerds: American Goldfinch

If you're interested, you can extend your experience with a guided birding walk afterward to spot these birds in their natural habitat. This event welcomes adults, teens, and seniors who want to deepen their appreciation for local wildlife. The program runs for an hour and a half at the Nature Realm Visitors Center. If you have questions beforehand, the center is available Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.—just give them a call.
