Bees & Blooms

This program invites families to explore the natural world alongside a naturalist guide in the Tallmadge Meadows Area. You'll spend about an hour and a half searching for bees and flowering plants during late summer, a season when these creatures are preparing for cooler weather ahead. It's a hands-on way to observe pollinator behavior and understand seasonal changes in nature. The activity welcomes all ages, from children to seniors, making it a great option for multigenerational outings. A naturalist will lead discussion about what happens to bees as temperatures drop and days shorten, helping participants connect everyday observations to larger ecological patterns.
