Barberton History Mural Unveiling

Join the community for a special celebration as a new mural depicting The Mansion—an important landmark in local history connected to O.C. Barber and A.O. Austin—is unveiled downtown. The festivities begin at 4pm with food vendors, local merchandise, ice cream, and a chance to browse offerings from the Barberton Historical Society. This is a relaxed opportunity to grab a bite and soak in the pre-event atmosphere while exploring what local vendors have to offer. At 5pm, the main ceremony kicks off with speakers from the Barberton Historical Society, the Barberton Community Foundation, muralist Arris Cohen, and Kavé's management sharing insights about the project and its significance. Once the mural is revealed, guests can head up to the rooftop patio for a closer look at the finished artwork. It's a wonderful way for families to connect with Barberton's heritage and support a community beautification effort together.
