Back Yards Gone Wild: Berries for Birds
Educational nature walk about native berries and supporting local bird populations.
This is the final session in a year-long program about bringing nature into your outdoor spaces. A naturalist will guide you through selecting native berry-producing trees, shrubs, and vines that attract birds and provide them with food during the winter months. You'll learn which plants work best for your landscape and how they support local wildlife.
Weather permitting, the group will take a short walk after the presentation to observe some of these plants growing in their natural setting. The program runs 90 minutes and welcomes adults, teens, and seniors. For questions about registration or other details, contact the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (open Wednesday–Saturday 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Sunday noon–5 p.m.).
