ACO: A tribute to Rob Williams at Grog Shop
The Afro Cleveland Orchestra is bringing back a piece of local music history. This reunion show celebrates saxophonist and flutist Rob Williams, who made his mark on Cleveland's music scene starting in the 1980s and helped shape ACO's distinctive blend of jazz, blues, R&B, and funk. The band was a fixture at the Grog Shop throughout the '90s and occasionally reunites for special performances like this one.
Expect an evening of live music performed by Jackie Warren (piano), Ray Deforest (bass), Gary Naherny (drums), Larnie Zellner (harmonica), Jim Cirillo (saxophone), and special guest performers. The show is welcoming to all ages, making it a great option if you want to introduce your family to Cleveland's musical heritage. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the performance starting at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10, with an additional $3 charge at the door for anyone under 21.
