16th Annual European Festival
Annual European Festival celebrating food, culture, and traditions from across Europe.
Here's a parent-facing description for this event:
Step into European culture at this free, family-friendly festival celebrating heritage through food, music, and dance. St. Mary Magdalene Byzantine Catholic Church welcomes everyone to enjoy homemade traditional dishes like stuffed cabbage, chicken paprikas, and nutrolls. The day runs from mid-morning into evening, giving your family plenty of time to explore at your own pace and sample different foods.
Beyond eating, you'll find live traditional music and ethnic dancing performed in colorful costumes throughout the day. Later in the evening, the Tom Katrenich Orchestra takes the stage with polka music, and an open dance floor invites everyone to join in. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience European traditions together as a family—just come with an appetite and a willingness to have fun!
